Fly fishing is a distinct and ancient angling method, most renowned as a method for catching trout and salmon, but employed today for a wide variety of species including marlin and sailfish.
Saltwater fly fishing is done with heavier tackle and typically uses wet flies resembling baitfish. Saltwater species sought and caught with fly tackle include: bonefish, tuna, Dorado (mahi-mahi) sailfish, tarpon, sail fish and marlin. Offshore saltwater species are usually teased up to the boat by trolling a large hook less lure. This is the ultimate adrenalin fishing as you usually hook the marlin only feet from the back of the boat.
We cater for all fly fishermen from experienced to the first time novice. If you like something a little special and different come and try your skills at fly fishing.
